This was the 14th episode in the history of the UK’s longest running skate comp. Great to see so many people there skating and partying. Those photos will follow later
Just trolling around the internets I came across a skate review I wrote for my friend Mike.
He had been sent a couple of pairs of skates from the brand new Rollerblade ranges. This included a pair of size nine Access. As Mike is into different aspects of skating, he sent these up for me to review on his behalf. Can’t believe this was back in 2002. Ten years ago and before they hit the shops on the UK.
It was a lazy day with no plans that turn into a mad night in Manchester. Yes we skated, but that was not the primary mission on this day so I only grabbed a single photo. With only a few minutes on this spot I turned to the ever-reliable John Goodman to provide the subject matter and this is what I got straight out of the gun:
