Well, thanks to Chaz Sands we can now see the changes to Hall 1 at Unit 23 Skatepark (Dumbarton). He’s been posting updates throughout the change, but now you can see the whole thing (though not yet finished) using the 360 panoramic viewer.

I really need to get back up there. Not been since the Unit 23 Open, back in June. I want photos of the new Hall obviously but mostly I want to ride the park. Not something I generally get to do even when I’m there due to camera duties. This time will be different…

Just a few shots I took at the UKSkate Summer Jam. Finally got around to working through them on a wet Bank Holiday Monday;

So, girls from all rolling disciplines did a mini three day tour with the support of Reverb UK and the Lady Rollers Organisation. Rollerblade, BMX, skateboard and scooter – all hit up some of the biggest and best skate parks in the UK and I was lucky enough to be at Rampworx to shoot the action. Sometimes there are benefits to spending too much time and money on photography.

Just for today, I’m hating on Elliot Stevens and Lee Devereux. Just for today mind. My reason is simple; editing together sequences is not something I enjoy. I am really not a fan. These guys however landed tricks in the street section on the final day of NASS that absolutely justified sequences and for that I am temporarily not liking them much…

Check out their destruction of the rails and all the other skating I captured from the Inline Pro Park Finals, best trick and street sessions. The day the sun came out just for us…

Last set of images coming, probably tomorrow will be what I shot on the (aptly named) Sunday. Primarily it will be the Inline Pro Park and the Street Sessions.

Alex Burston, out there showing exactly why he’s got his name on one of the best skates available. Put together by local crew STANdbY “McR” FILM, it’s a taster for what is to come. So, who’s looking forward to the next Razors DVD after this?

Having left Sum 41 behind, I moved onto either the UKF or DnB arena. Could have been either, or both. My memory of the night is a little, um, selective…

Here are the first set of photos from Saturday night at NASS 2012. I say the first set as I took so damn many that I need to split them up. These lot are from in and around the Main Arena while Sum 41 were on stage. So, if you found yourself enveloped by an “eclectic meld of raucous punk-rock, thunderous heavy metal and straightforward rock” while blinded by a muppet with a flash gun, you may be in the gallery…

BTW, really sorry about the quality of some of these photos (and those that failed to even make it here) but I was not sober enough to , well, let’s just leave it at not sober enough shall we…?

After the heavy night and even more rain, Saturday could have been a washout. It wasn’t. Here are the photos I got during the day.
